What A Life Report Actually Tells You

A life report is not a forecast of events. It is an account of the chart you were born with — what it is strong in, what it is short of, and how those two play out over the years you are living through. A chart is fixed at birth; what moves is the dasha, and that is what turns the same chart into a difficult decade and then an easy one. Read properly, a life report answers the question most people are really asking when they come to an astrologer: why has it gone the way it has, and what is coming.

Everything begins with the lagna. The rising sign at the moment of your birth fixes the twelve bhavas, and with them the meaning of every graha in your chart. The same Saturn is a blessing in one lagna and a long lesson in another. So the report starts there — which sign was rising, which graha owns it, where that lord has gone — before a single prediction is made.

What Arrives In The PDF

  • Your chart, drawn. D1 (lagna) and D9 (navamsa), side by side.
  • The planetary table. All nine grahas and the lagna with exact degrees, sign, house, nakshatra and its lord, dignity, and whether each is retrograde or combust — then a card per planet saying whether it works for you or against you in this chart.
  • Four opening readings. Lagna, Sun sign, Moon sign and birth star, each taken separately: how you are seen, what drives you, how you feel, and what your nakshatra says about the path.
  • Twelve houses, one to a page. Sign, lord, where that lord sits, and the karaka — then what the house promises, what the grahas do to it, where the difficulty sits, and what to do about it.
  • Fifteen years of dasha. The mahadasha running over your life and every antardasha inside it, with start and end dates, each read for career, money, family, health and travel.
  • Yogas. Fifty-seven classical combinations tested against your chart, with the ones you carry named, explained and graded.
  • Three doshas, each in its own section. Mangal, Kalsarpa and Sade Sati — present or not, how severe, and the remedies the texts give.

House By House, The Way A Jyotishi Reads It

From the lagna the report works through the bhavas in order, and each one the same way — the house, then its lord, then where that lord sits and what it keeps company with, then the karaka that stands for the same matter. The seventh house for marriage, Venus as its karaka, and the two read against each other: a strong seventh with an afflicted Venus is not the same story as the reverse, and a report that gave you only one of them would be telling you half of what your chart says.

That is twelve readings in one: livelihood and the tenth house, money and the second, home and mother in the fourth, children and the fifth, obstacles and the sixth, what you inherit and what you lose in the eighth, dharma and fortune in the ninth, gains and friendships in the eleventh, and what the twelfth quietly takes away. Each page ends with something to do — a routine, a discipline, a remedy tied to the graha that needs it.

The Fifteen-Year Dasha Forecast

A chart tells you what is possible. The Vimshottari dasha tells you when. The report lays out the mahadasha you are living through and every antardasha inside it for the next fifteen years, each with its dates — and reads each period against your own chart rather than against a rule of thumb, because a Jupiter period is not good news in every chart and a Saturn period is not bad news in most of them.

Every sub-period is taken apart the same way: what it does to your work, what it does to money and property, what it does at home, what to watch in your health, and whether travel or study is favoured. Read together, the section is a calendar — which years to push, which to hold, and which to spend building something quietly.

Yogas And Doshas, Checked Rather Than Assumed

Most people arrive having read somewhere that they have manglik dosha, or kaal sarp, or a raj yoga, and having no idea whether it is true or whether it matters. This is the part of the report that settles it.

What Is Tested

  • 57 yogas. Pancha Mahapurusha, the Chandra and Surya yogas, the Raja and Dhana yogas, the Nabhasa group — each either present in your chart or not, with the planets that form it named and its strength graded.
  • Mangal dosha. Checked from the lagna, from the Moon and from Venus, because the classical texts use all three — and the cancellation rules applied, which quietly clear a great many of the charts people worry about.
  • Kalsarpa dosha. Whether every graha really does sit between Rahu and Ketu, which of the types it makes, and whether it is the ascending or descending kind.
  • Sade Sati. All three cycles of your life with dates — the ones already past and the one still to come — broken into rising, peak and setting phases, with the ashtakavarga score for each. Kantaka and Ashtama Shani are dated too.

Where something is found, the remedies follow: the mantra, the day, the donation, the fast, the temple, and the gemstone where one is called for. These are the remedies the tradition gives for that graha — chosen for what your chart carries, not invented for the occasion.

What You Need To Order It

Your date of birth, your time of birth, and the place. That is all — no questionnaire, and nothing to write. The time matters most: the lagna moves a full sign roughly every two hours, and with it the whole house structure, so a birth certificate or a hospital record is worth finding if you have one.

If your time is uncertain, the report still holds for everything that does not turn on the houses — the grahas' signs, their nakshatras, the dasha sequence, the doshas read from the Moon. Our free kundli will show you the chart itself first, if you would like to see it before paying.

Common Questions

How long is the report?

Thirty-six pages, as a PDF. Twelve sections: your chart drawn, the planetary table, four opening readings, all twelve houses one to a page, fifteen years of dasha, the yogas, and the three doshas.

How quickly does it arrive?

Usually within ten minutes of payment, emailed to you. You do not have to wait on any page while it is prepared — close the tab and it will reach you. The same file sits in My Reports for ninety days.

Is this written by an astrologer?

No, and we would rather say so than let you find out. This report is built by our own system, working from the same classical rules — Parashari, Lahiri ayanamsa, Vimshottari dasha — and applying them to your chart. It is thorough and it is yours alone, but nobody sat down with it. If that is what you want, the personalized life report is read and prepared by Jyotish Acharya Pramod Sharma himself and takes a few working days.

Are the remedies made for my chart?

They are chosen for what your chart carries, from the remedies the texts give. If Mangal dosha is present you get the Mangal remedies; if it is cancelled, you are told that instead. The mantra for a graha is the mantra for that graha — it is the same in every book, and we do not invent new ones.

Can I order it for somebody else?

Yes. Add their birth details as a chart in your account and order against it. Parents order these for children more often than for themselves.

What if I do not understand something in it?

The report is written to be read without a glossary, and the Sanskrit terms it does use are explained where they appear. If a particular question still needs going into, that is a separate service — you put the questions and an astrologer answers them from your chart, in writing.
