DELETE YOUR ACCOUNT AND DATA

This page explains how to delete your Astromitra account (Android package com.astromitra.user) and the personal data associated with it. You do not need to install the app to make this request.
OPTION 1 — DELETE FROM INSIDE THE APP
Fastest method
- Open the Astromitra app and tap Profile in the bottom navigation bar.
- Scroll to the bottom of the Profile screen and tap the Settings button.
- Tap Delete Account.
- Tap Yes on the confirmation sheet that appears.
OPTION 2 — REQUEST DELETION BY EMAIL
If you no longer have the app
Send an email to info@astromitra.com with the subject line "Account Deletion Request", from the email address registered with your Astromitra account.
Please include your registered mobile number if you have one, so that we can locate your account. We may ask one further question to confirm your identity before deleting, in order to protect you from someone else deleting your account.
WHAT IS DELETED
- Your account, name, email address and mobile number
- All saved birth profiles, including date, time and place of birth
- Your chat history with astrologers
- Saved and previously generated PDF reports
- Your subscription profile and preferences
- Device identifiers and push notification tokens
WHAT IS RETAINED, AND FOR HOW LONG

HOW LONG IT TAKES
In-app deletion takes effect immediately. Email requests are acknowledged within 48 hours and completed within 30 days.
BEFORE YOU DELETE — PLEASE NOTE
- Deletion is permanent. Your charts, reports and consultation history cannot be recovered afterwards. Download any report you want to keep before proceeding.
- Cancel your subscription separately. If you have an active MitraPro subscription bought through Google Play or the App Store, deleting your Astromitra account does not cancel it. Cancel it from your Google Play or App Store subscriptions screen, or you will continue to be billed.
- Unused credits are forfeited. Consultation credits have no cash value and are not refunded on account deletion.
- Pending orders. If a store order or puja booking is still in progress, please let us complete or cancel it first.
PREFER NOT TO DELETE EVERYTHING?
You do not have to close your whole account to remove data. You can delete an individual birth profile or clear a conversation from within the app. You may also write to us to request a copy of your data, or to have inaccurate details corrected.
