What A Vedic Health Report Can Honestly Tell You

Let us be clear about this before anything else, because it matters more here than on any other page we have. A chart does not diagnose. It cannot tell you what you have, it cannot replace a blood test, and anybody selling you otherwise is selling something dangerous.

What Jyotish has always described is prakriti — constitution. The body you were born into: where its strength sits, where it wears first, what kind of routine keeps it steady and what kind grinds it down. That is a real subject, the texts treat it carefully, and it is genuinely useful. It is also the only thing this report claims to do.

The Sixth House And The Body You Were Born With

Vitality in a chart is read from the lagna and its lord — the body itself and the force running it. Against that sits the sixth house, which the texts give to illness, recovery and the daily grind that either builds or erodes you. A strong lagna with a difficult sixth is somebody robust who keeps catching things; the reverse is somebody who looks fragile and quietly outlasts everyone.

The report reads both, then adds the Navamsa — which the tradition treats as the inner constitution, the reserve underneath the visible one — and says which of the two your chart actually rests on.

What Arrives In The PDF

  • Both charts, drawn. D1 and D9, with every graha's sign, house, degree, nakshatra and dignity, and Vargottama marked.
  • Vitality and constitution. The lagna and its lord read as the body's own strength, and what supports or strains it.
  • The 6th house in full. Illness, resilience and recovery — its sign, its lord, what sits there and what aspects it.
  • Mind and emotional health, taken as its own section rather than a line at the end. The Moon, its condition, and what steadies it.
  • The body-system table. Every house set against the part of the body its sign rules — the Kalapurusha scheme — with the malefics and afflicted lords marked, so you can see at a glance which systems your chart asks you to watch.
  • Mangal dosha through a health lens. The same dosha people meet in marriage readings, read here for what it does to energy and recovery.
  • Wellness windows and three years of dasha, read for wellbeing rather than for money or career — which stretches favour building strength, and which ask for a gentler routine.
  • Your Ayurvedic prakriti. Vata, Pitta and Kapha as percentages, worked out from your grahas, with the placements each one comes from.
  • Food and routine to match. What suits your constitution and what unsettles it — classical Ayurvedic guidance, named dish by dish.

Prakriti Worked Out From Your Chart, Not A Questionnaire

Most people meet their dosha type through a quiz — twenty questions about your skin and your sleep, and out comes a label. It is not useless, but it measures how you are today, which moves with the season, your work and your last three bad nights.

Jyotish comes at it from the other end. Your rising sign, the Sun's sign, the Moon's sign and the grahas that shape them each carry a dosha signature, and together they give the constitution you were born with rather than the state you are in. This report gives you all three as percentages — a split, not a label, because almost nobody is one thing — and then names the placements that produced them.

What This Report Will Never Do

  • Name a disease. It will not tell you that you have something, or will get it.
  • Replace a test. No chart substitutes for a doctor, a scan or a blood report.
  • Tell you to stop a treatment. Never. Not for a gemstone, not for a fast, not for anything in it.

What it does instead is point at the systems your chart asks you to look after, and at the years worth being more careful in. Take that to your doctor, not instead of them.

Why Timing Belongs In A Health Reading

Constitution is fixed; how it behaves is not. The same body runs easily through one decade and asks for care in the next, and in Jyotish that is the dasha doing its work.

So the report takes three years ahead and reads each period for wellbeing — which are the steady stretches, which sub-periods touch the systems your chart already marks, and what a sensible routine looks like in each. Not warnings. Seasons, with the advice matched to them, and a reminder to keep routine check-ups on the calendar where the chart suggests paying attention.

What You Need To Order Your Health Report

Your date of birth, your time of birth, and the place. No questionnaire, no symptoms to list, nothing medical to disclose — the reading is cast from the chart alone.

Birth time matters, because the lagna decides which body system sits in which house and the whole Kalapurusha table turns on that. If your time is uncertain, the prakriti and the graha-level indications still hold; treat the house-by-house table as indicative. Our free kundli will show you the chart before you decide.

Common Questions

Will it tell me if I have a disease?

No, and it should not. Astrology describes constitution — where a body is strong, where it wears first, what routine suits it. Naming an illness from a chart is not something Jyotish can honestly do, and a report that tried would be a dangerous thing to sell. If something is worrying you physically, see a doctor; take this alongside, not instead.

How is the prakriti worked out?

From your chart, not from a quiz. Your rising sign, your Sun sign, your Moon sign and the grahas shaping them each carry a dosha signature; the report weighs them and gives Vata, Pitta and Kapha as percentages, naming the placement behind each. That is the constitution you were born with, which is a different thing from the state you happen to be in this month.

What is the body-system table?

The classical Kalapurusha scheme: each sign of the zodiac governs a part of the body, so once your lagna is fixed every house maps to a system. The table sets them out with the malefics and afflicted lords marked, which gives you a one-page view of where your chart asks for extra attention. It is a map of tendencies, not a list of problems.

Should I follow the remedies instead of my treatment?

Never. The mantras, fasts and dietary suggestions in this report sit alongside medical care and nothing in it should displace a prescription, a test or a doctor's instruction. If a remedy and a treatment ever seem to conflict, the treatment wins.

Is this written by an astrologer?

No, and we would rather say so than let you find out. It is built by our own system from the classical rules — Parashari, Lahiri ayanamsa, Vimshottari dasha, with the Kalapurusha body scheme and the Ayurvedic constitutional rules — applied to your chart. Thorough, and yours alone, but nobody sat down with it.

How quickly does it arrive?

Usually within ten minutes of payment, emailed as a PDF. You do not have to wait on any page while it is prepared — close the tab and it will reach you. The same file stays in My Reports for ninety days.
