According to Indian Vedic astrology, there is one zodiac of 360 degrees in space. It is divided into 12 equal zodiac signs. Each sign has its own 30 degrees zodiac form. These all 12 sign are ruled by specific planets. These planets are called their lords.
Strength of a RASHI -If a RASHI is aspected by its Lord, or by a planet, that is friendly to its Lord, or by Mercury, or by Jupiter, it is said to be strong. Planets other than the above do not lend strength by aspect. (SARAVALI)

According to Indian Vedic astrology, Leo, Virgo, Libra Scorpio and Aquarius signs are concerned as powerful signs during day period.
Gemini, Aries, Taurus, Cancer, Sagittarius and Capricorn these signs are concerned as powerful signs during night period.
Barren Signs
Aries, Gemini, Leo and Virgo signs are concerned as Barren signs. If, these signs are occupied over the 5th house and 5th lord is occupied over one of barren sign too, in debilitate or afflicted position, Native will face various kinds of obstacles in having kids.
Mute signs
Cancer, Scorpio and Pisces signs are concerned as Mute signs. If, any mute sign is occupied over the 2nd house, its lord is debilitated or aspected by natural cruel and malefic planets. Native may suffer due to speech related diseases.
Blind signs

Lame signs
